NBAA Top 40 Under 40

The Business Aviation Top 40 Under 40 shines a light on the young professionals who are making their mark in our industry. Candidates from across the world will be vetted on their professional accomplishments, involvement with the industry, innovative spirit, character attributes and dedication to the business aviation community.

Peers and supervisors may nominate candidates now using the online submission system. Help us recognize the next generation of business aviation leaders by nominating them in one of the following eight categories:

    Airport Business

    Individuals who work in airport operations, airport planning, airport consultants, FBO Management or other positions supporting airports.

  • What Is A YoPro?

    Broker/Sales

    Individuals who sell charter flights, aircraft and other sales positions.

  • Upcoming YoPro Events

    Business Management

    Individuals who focus on business development, finance, regulatory and legal work, as well as those who have started a companies and non-flying aviation department managers

  • About YoPro

    Cabin Attendant

    Individuals whose primary responsibility involves the comfort and safety of passengers in the cabin during flight.

  • Upcoming YoPro Events

    Maintenance

    Flight line support, maintenance technicians, Directors of maintenance and other mechanics working for flight departments, MROs, maintenance instructors or contract support.

  • What Is A YoPro?

    Marketing

    Individuals in marketing and advertising positions, as well as event coordinators and CSRs.

  • What Is A YoPro?

    Pilot

    Individuals who fly an aircraft as their primary job responsibility. This includes line pilots, second in command or pilot in command, chief pilot or as a flying department manager. This also includes both simulator instructors and aircraft instructors

  • Upcoming YoPro Events

    Scheduler/Dispatcher

    Individuals whose primary responsibility is scheduling and/or dispatching aircraft or managing schedulers/dispatchers.

Selection Process:

At least one winner from each category will be selected by the NBAA Young Professionals Council, with winners to be announced at the 2018 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Orlando.

Five winners from the Maintenance and Airport Business categories will also be the winners from the AMT and Airport Business Top 40 Under 40 categories. These ten winners will be featured in both the Aviation Pros and NBAA publications with the delineation “selected in partnership with...”

Recognition:

Winners will be featured in NBAA's Business Aviation Insider magazine and acknowledged at the 2018 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE). Winners will also receive a plaque recognizing their achievement.
