NBAA Group Connects Young Professionals in Business Aviation

Walking the show floor of NBAA's 2014 convention, NBAA Manager of Registration Sierra Grimes saw many young professionals but no organizing force bringing them together. "We decided to put together a team to build a network for young professionals in the industry to connect with each other," said Grimes. Two years later, the Young Professionals in Business Aviation (YoPro) is thriving with a newly formed leadership council and two exciting events at NBAA-BACE: a networking reception on Tuesday evening and a panel discussion about cross-generational communication on Wednesday morning. NBAA Young Professionals Group Introduces New Advisory Council

NBAA's Young Professionals in Business Aviation (YoPro) announced the formation of its inaugural YoPro Council, a leadership team tasked with overseeing the group's efforts to build relationships between emerging leaders in the industry. The 25 young professionals on the council will be responsible for planning YoPro events and initiatives. "Our goal with YoPro is to provide a community for young professionals looking to make their mark on business aviation, and the experience and enthusiasm our new council members bring will be crucial to that effort," said Sierra Grimes, YoPro founder and NBAA's manager of registration.
