While NBAA does not endorse any individual provider, all UPRT courses featured on this page have been reviewed for quality standards by the association’s Safety Committee.

Why Pursue UPRT?
While simulators are useful for building and honing flying skills, former Navy pilot Mike Marlowe – who survived an inverted stall during his military career – says nothing compares to experiencing an upset in a controlled training environment. “Having that experience of being upside down in a real aircraft and knowing how to look at, feel it and recover from it was paramount in our success,” said Marlowe. The Prevailance Aerospace UPRT course trains flight crews to recognize and recover from unusual attitudes and aircraft upsets.
