In addition to its role as Europe’s premier business aviation trade show and educational forum, the 2013 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2013) also provides an important venue for Attendees to hear directly from regulatory authorities and industry leaders in the region about the latest policy and marketplace trends facing business aviation.

This tradition will continue on May 21 at the Opening General Session at EBACE2013.

Moderated by European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) CEO Fabio Gamba and NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen, the Opening General Session will offer the unique opportunity for EBACE Attendees to hear from two of Europe’s top aviation experts about the state of the industry in the European region.

Siim Kallas, European commissioner for Transport, will report on implementation of the Single European Sky.

Patrick Ky, managing director of joint undertaking for the Single European Sky ATM Research, or SESAR, program is expected to address the ongoing development of the Single European Sky ATM Research overhaul of European airspace operations.

Daniel Weder, CEO of Swiss air navigation services provider Skyguide, will an industry perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing business aviation in Europe today.

Highlighting the many benefits that business aviation provides throughout the European region is a key objective for EBACE2013, running from May 21 to 23, 2013, at Geneva, Switzerland’s magnificent Palexpo convention hall and Geneva International Airport.

Jointly hosted each year by NBAA and EBAA, EBACE is Europe’s largest convention and trade event focusing on business aviation, as well as the European aviation industry’s largest educational venue.
