Due to an emergency concrete slab replacement project, Runways 1R/19L and 10/28 will be closed at Tampa International Airport (TPA) starting at 7:30 a.m., EDT, on April 25 through 5 p.m., EDT, May 9.
The airport will be on a single runway operation utilizing Runway 1L/19R during the project. Air traffic delays can be expected during times of peak traffic demand.
The FAA will utilize initiatives to include miles in trail, airborne holding and possible ground delay programs and ground stops to mitigate the volume concerns.
