San Francisco International Airport (SFO) – San Francisco, CA
San Francisco Airport Taxiway Construction Planned For Nov. 7 and 8
Oct. 30, 2015
The taxiway "Q" and "B" intersection at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) will be closed for maintenance Nov. 7 and 8. This closure will result in significant challenges in surface movement at the airport. In addition to the ground delays expected on the surface, the FAA plans to implement a ground delay program for arrivals to reduce the surface congestion. The project is weather dependent with alternate dates of Nov. 14 and 15. Learn more.

April 6, 2009
Runway 28R/10L at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) will be closed every night from 10:30 p.m. to 8:45 a.m. for runway repaving. Additionally, there will be four weekend-long closures beginning Friday, April 17, from 10:30 p.m. through 8:45 a.m. Monday. Traffic management initiatives, including ground delay programs, ground stops and miles in trail are possible during the construction. If wet weather is expected, closures may be cancelled. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed in mid-May. For more information, contact NBAA’s Dean Snell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
