Workers' Comp Insurance Participants Now Have Opportunity to Earn Cash Dividends
Atlanta, GA, October 20, 2010 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announces that Members participating in the Association’s Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program will now have the opportunity to earn a cash dividend in the form of a refund for a significant portion of their annual premiums, up to 25 percent based upon loss experience.
The program, underwritten by Phoenix Aviation Managers and administered by NationAir Aviation Insurance, has been popular among Members since its launch on May 1, 2009. The dividend opportunity applies to all current insureds and every company that has participated since the program’s inception. As a result of the outstanding loss experience of the group, the program is also offering the dividend retroactively to new participants.
“We are pleased to offer this insurance benefit as part of our long-standing commitment to help our Member Companies operate as safely and successfully as possible,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “During tough economic times like these, this program can help you reduce your operating costs while maintaining high-quality coverage for your employees. And now with an opportunity to share in cash dividends, the program is more valuable to NBAA’s Members than ever.”
All NBAA Members that operate aircraft are eligible to participate in the program, regardless of size. The policies cover everyone involved with a company’s aviation operation, including pilots, maintenance technicians, flight attendants, schedulers and dispatchers, and flight department managers. There are also provisions for companies using contract crew members.
In addition to providing access to coverage and reducing the cost of workers’ compensation insurance premiums for NBAA Members, the program benefits the Association itself. A portion of the premium proceeds paid into the program will come back to NBAA to fund its mission of assisting companies that rely on general aviation aircraft to make their businesses more efficient, productive and successful.
If Members are interested in the program, they don't have to switch brokers to participate. They simply should contact their existing broker. NBAA2010 Attendees also can visit Phoenix Aviation Managers (Booth 4739) or NationAir Aviation Insurance (Booth 3233), who both have staff available for questions on-site at this week’s Convention in Atlanta.
