NBAA Announces Two Recipients of 2008 ExxonMobil and the Avitats IOC ScholarshipRecipients to be recognized at NBAA Conference on March 12 in San Antonio, TX

WASHINGTON, DC, March 7, 2008 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) today announced the two individuals to receive the 2008 ExxonMobil and the Avitats International Operators Conference (IOC) Scholarship.
The scholarship is given annually in coordination with ExxonMobil and the Avitats and NBAA's International Operators Committee and is designed to benefit individuals seeking to further their education applicable directly or indirectly to international flight operations.
The recipients of the 2008 ExxonMobil and the Avitats IOC Scholarship are as follows:
- Cynthia Black is a scheduler/dispatcher for Citigroup Corporate Aviation in White Plains, NY. She plans to use the fund to participate in
NBAA's International Operators Conference to broaden her expertise in supporting international flight operations.
- Scott Walker pilots a Citation SII for Riley Air Charters of Yorba Linda, CA. He intends to use the funds to support his goal of obtaining an initial type-rating in the Falcon tri-jet series.
In addition to their scholarships, both recipients will receive free attendance to NBAA's International Operators Conference.
