NBAA Announces Atlanta Local Committee for 60th Annual Meeting & ConventionContact: Dan Hubbard at (202) 783-9360 or firstname.lastname@example.org
WASHINGTON, DC, March 26, 2007 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) today announced the formation of an Atlanta Local Committee in preparation for NBAA's 60th Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2007), to be held September 25 through 27, 2007, in Atlanta, GA, at the Georgia World Congress Center and Fulton County Airport. The Committee, composed of NBAA Members who are also leaders in the Atlanta area, will assist in all aspects of the preparations for the Convention.
While NBAA does not establish a Local Committee in advance of each Annual Meeting & Convention, Kathleen Blouin, NBAA senior vice president, Conventions, Seminars & Forums, said, "The people involved in Atlanta's diverse business aviation community will be critical in making this year's Convention our best yet."
During the Convention this September in Atlanta, NBAA will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Association's establishment. Additionally, NBAA and its Membership will help commemorate the centennial of flight for the State of Georgia, and numerous noteworthy milestones for many NBAA Member Companies. The Local Committee will work with NBAA staff to plan a series of events at the Convention to make the most of each of these historic anniversaries.
Blouin continued: "Even though our initial expectations for the Local Committee were high, we've been pleasantly surprised with the Committee's creativity and enthusiasm. We believe the industry as a whole will benefit from their efforts and the exciting programs they've proposed for NBAA2007."
