São Paulo, Brazil, March 10, 2005 – Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the 3rd Annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE2005) from March 31 to April 2, 2005, in São Paulo, Brazil. The Associação Brasileira de Aviação Geral (ABAG), the only business aviation association in Latin America, and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) jointly sponsor this event, the only Latin American exhibition to focus exclusively on business aviation.
LABACE2005 will be held in Hall C of the Transamérica Expo Center, and various business aircraft will be on Static Display at Congonhas Airport, operated by Infraero. The Static Display of Aircraft will be located on Congonhas Airport, approximately 20 minutes from the Expo Center. More than 3,000 Attendees are expected, including corporate leaders, flight department personnel, aviation department managers, government officials, maintenance personnel, schedulers and dispatchers, and non-operators.
The event also will feature Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Sessions and technical briefings hosted by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), as well as informational sessions on a variety of business aviation issues, including the future of air navigation (CNS/ATM) in Latin America, IFR helicopter operations, reduced vertical separation minimum (RVSM), and the impact of very light jets (VLJs) on the industry.
Press badges, which are required to gain entry into the exhibit hall and all technical meetings, will be issued at no charge to editors, reporters and camera personnel. Press credentials may be obtained at the LABACE2005 Registration area in Hall C by presenting a business card or suitable identification. Members of the media may register in advance by completing the LABACE press registration form online at www.labace.aero/register/press.php and designating their membership in a press organization.
Press badges are available for pickup on-site at Press Registration; they will not be mailed to registrants in advance. If someone other than media from your organization wishes to attend LABACE2005, contact NBAA's Marti Smith at (202) 783-9365 or firstname.lastname@example.org for delegate registration information. Inside Brazil, contact ABAG's Adalberto Febeliano at +55-11-5032-2727 or email@example.com.
