Business Aviation Fact Book Released
Washington, DC, April 26, 2000 - The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has released its NBAA Business Aviation Fact Book 2000, an annual profile of the business aviation industry gathered from sources that include NBAA, the FAA and aviation information services. The publication highlights business aviation’s contribution to the national air transportation system.
Included in the Fact Book are statistics on industry trends, safety, noise, airports, NBAA Membership numbers and NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention attendance, as well as survey data.
NBAA represents the aviation interests of over 6,100 companies which own or operate general aviation aircraft as an aid to the conduct of their business, or are involved with business aviation. NBAA Member Companies earn annual revenues approaching $5 trillion — a number that is about half the gross domestic product — and employ more than 19 million people worldwide. The NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention is the world's largest display of civil aviation products and services.
