At a Senate Appropriations Subcommittee hearing held March 28, 2012, to review the Treasury Department’s annual budget proposal, Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS) called upon Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to ask the White House to tone down the negative rhetoric about business aviation. Following the hearing, NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen said, “We thank Senator Moran for taking a stand for business aviation.” Moran is a member of the Senate GA Caucus.
