Data Shows NBAA's Convention Remains Industry's Most Valued Event
NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen said that last month's 62nd Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2009) remained an essential venue for the business aviation community, in spite of the formidable headwinds the industry has endured in the past year. "Even in the tough climate we're in, the business aviation community puts a premium on face-to-face meetings and communications, and this year's show provided the ultimate opportunity for that type of interaction," Bolen said. Attendance for NBAA2009 totaled 22,980 with 1,075 Exhibitors – 91 percent of the Exhibitors for last year's Convention. "The support for this show proves that it remains an absolutely essential venue for the buyers and sellers in our industry to connect and promote a true and positive image of business aviation," Bolen said.
