NBAA2009: Demonstrating the Value of Business Aviation
Nowhere will the reach, diversity and economic impact of the business aviation industry be more in evidence than at the NBAA 62nd Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2009), to be held from October 20 to 22 in Orlando, FL. In past years, the show has drawn as many as 30,000 Attendees, 1,100 Exhibiting Companies, and 139 static aircraft. In 2008, 47 of the 50 states in the U.S. plus the District of Columbia and two U.S. territories were represented, as were six of the world's seven continents. Now more than ever, NBAA's Convention will be the event where business leaders, government officials, manufacturers, flight department personnel, single-pilot operations and all manner of people involved in nearly every aspect of business aviation will be on hand to discuss the news and trends affecting, and being affected by, the industry. Learn more about this year's show, and register to attend or exhibit, at:

In Tough Times, Shows Like NBAA2009 Remain Highly Valued
A recent survey in Tradeshow Week magazine makes clear that in a challenging economy, trade shows like NBAA's Annual Meeting & Convention are especially valuable for connecting buyers and sellers. The survey found that 96 percent of CEOs and other senior executives say they are attending their industry's most important events this year. All Attendees "continue to see the value of participating in conventions and trade shows," and Exhibitors rely on the events to market their products and stay in touch with customers. NBAA has posted a web article that details the many ways shows like NBAA's Convention remain critical to Exhibitors and Attendees alike and provides a link to NBAA2009 registration.
