S&D Conference Poised to Set New Records
The NBAA 18th Annual Schedulers & Dispatchers (S&D) Conference, offering sessions designed to promote workplace productivity, will be held next week from January 21 to 24. This Conference is one of business aviation's premier events, offering 30 information sessions and the opportunity to network with more than 2,000 industry peers. Exhibitor booths, which sold out in advance, increased from 322 in 2006 to 351 in 2007, a 9-percent gain and the most booths ever sold for this event. This year's Conference keynote speaker is Kevin Freiberg, the best-selling author of the books Nuts! and Guts! NBAA's Regional Forum Returns to Scottsdale This Month
Having last visited Scottsdale, AZ, in 2003, the NBAA Business Aviation Regional Forum returns to the Scottsdale AirCenter facility on Scottsdale Airport (SDL) this month on Thursday, January 25. The event will feature approximately 60 Exhibitors, 20 static aircraft and sessions on aircraft ownership, aviation safety, and FAA operational control and related tax issues. It will be held in conjunction with a Regulatory Hot Topics Forum on January 26. Though Static Display space is sold out, indoor exhibit space is still available. ABACE to Address Needs of Emerging Asian Market; Agenda Now Online
It's not too late to exhibit at NBAA's Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE2007), which will be held February 6 and 7 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. EBACE2007: Driving Commerce in Europe and Beyond
NBAA Members should plan now to attend and exhibit at the 7th Annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2007), to be held May 22 though 24 in Geneva. EBACE2007 Show Guide Information Due Feb. 16
The EBACE2007 Show Guide & Directory of Exhibiting Companies includes the schedule of events and general information pertaining to EBACE2007. Exhibitors are listed alphabetically in the index with assigned booth number and Static Display space. Exhibitor profiles include company name, booth number, company address, phone and fax numbers, web site, e-mail address and a description of the company's products or services. One complimentary listing is provided per indoor booth or Static Display space reserved. Each Exhibiting Company and Co-Exhibiting Company must have separate log-in credentials, and must enter their information online by February 16 to ensure inclusion in the print edition of the Show Guide. Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE2007) Dates Announced
NBAA and the Associacao Brasileira de Aviacao Geral (ABAG) have announced the dates and organization for the next Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE2007). LABACE2007 is scheduled to take place from Thursday, August 9 through Saturday, August 11 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. A specific event site is expected to be announced early this year. ABAG will be the primary party responsible for the production of LABACE2007, including the organization of the exhibit floor, Static Display of Aircraft and other event elements. Maintenance Management Conference Priority 1 Deadline Is Feb. 2
The NBAA Maintenance Management Conference, to be held April 2 through 4 in San Diego, CA, is business aviation's single dedicated event for individuals involved in aircraft and facility maintenance management. This Conference benefits anyone involved in aircraft maintenance, hangar facility management, or personnel supervision. The Exhibitor Prospectus for this event has been released and is now online. Exhibit at Fort Lauderdale Regional Forum on Mar. 22
NBAA's next Business Aviation Regional Forum will be held March 22 at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. The Regional Forum is a day-long learning and networking experience designed to meet the needs of the regional business aviation community, and to provide an introduction to local business leaders interested in learning more about business aviation. Nominations for NBAA's Highest Awards Due Feb. 16
NBAA is accepting nominations for its two most prestigious awards, the Meritorious Service to Aviation Award and the John P. "Jack" Doswell Award. The Meritorious Service Award recognizes those individuals who have made significant, identifiable contributions that have materially advanced aviation interests, and the Doswell Award honors high standards for lifelong individual achievement on behalf and in support of the aims, goals and objectives of business aviation. NBAA Members are strongly encouraged to submit nominations for both awards to NBAA by February 16. The 2007 award winners will be officially recognized at the NBAA 60th Annual Meeting & Convention next September in Atlanta.
