NBAA Commitment to High-Value Programming Reflected in High Attendance at Recent Events
NBAA's Conventions, Regional Forums, Seminars, Conferences and other events are designed to bring together people involved in all aspects of business aviation to view the latest products, share information about industry trends and explore professional-development opportunities. NBAA's commitment to providing high-value events for its Members has been reflected in the strong attendance and support for NBAA's Annual Meeting & Convention in Orlando, FL, last November, the Association's Regional Forum in Boca Raton, FL, in mid January, and NBAA's 17th Annual Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in San Antonio, TX, last week. Marti Smith Promoted to Director, Regional Forums & Static Displays
NBAA has promoted Marti Smith to director, regional forums & static displays, the position previously held by Suzanne Cole, who left the Association last month to pursue other endeavors. In her new role, Smith will be responsible for management of NBAA Static Displays at the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention, EBACE, LABACE, ABACE and Regional Forums. Most recently serving as senior manager, exhibits, Smith joined the Association in June of 1998 after six years with Signature Flight Support at Reagan Washington National Airport, where she had worked as the customer service/operations supervisor since 1992. "With Marti's knowledge of NBAA Exhibitors, and her experience working at an FBO, she's a natural for this position," said Senior Vice President, Conventions, Seminars & Forums Kathleen Blouin. In other staff news, Margie Rowson, originally hired in 2005 as assistant manager, registration & data entry, has transferred into the position of assistant manager, exhibits.

EBACE2006 Exhibitor Total Running 33 Percent Ahead of Last Year
Scheduled for May 3, 4, 5, 2006, in Geneva, Switzerland, EBACE2006 continues to show remarkable growth, with confirmed Exhibitors already exceeding 200, a 33-percent increase compared to the same period last year. The Static Display on Geneva International Airport is showing similar growth, with 20 aircraft already confirmed. Due to the Show's tremendous growth, this year the EBACE indoor exhibits have moved to Hall 6 of Geneva Palexpo, but the Static Display location and the Informational Session location (in the Geneva Palexpo meeting rooms near Hall 1) remain the same. Advertising Opportunities in the EBACE2006 Exhibitor Directory

New in 2006, Brazil's Congonhas Airport Hosts All Aspects of LABACE
Thousands of business aviation vendors, industry leaders, owners and operators from the Americas and Africa will head to São Paulo, Brazil, on Thursday, August 10, Friday, August 11 and Saturday, August 12, 2006, for Latin America's ultimate business aviation destination – the 4th Annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE2006). New for 2006, the indoor exhibits will be situated in Varig's Hangar on Congonhas Airport, immediately adjacent to the Static Display of Aircraft. Exhibit at NBAA2006 to Experience a Year's Worth of Business in Just Three Days
The NBAA 59th Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2006) will be held October 17, 18, 19, 2006, at the North/South Building of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. NBAA2006 Static Display Lottery Deadline Is Mar. 10
As in 2005, Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) and Showalter Flying Service again will host the NBAA Static Display of Aircraft. Applications for Static Display space must be received by March 10 to be included in the lottery. NBAA to Promote ABACE2007 at Asian Aerospace 2006
NBAA's next Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE2007) will take place on February 6 and 7, 2007, at the new Asia World Expo situated adjacent to Hong Kong International Airport with static aircraft at the Hong Kong Business Aviation Center. This trade show is the only major Asian event focused solely on business aviation. The 2007 event follows the successful inaugural ABACE2005, which drew more than 2,200 Attendees and 50 Exhibiting Companies. S&D Conference Has Record-Setting Turnout of Attendees, Exhibitors
A record-shattering 2,200 people were in attendance at the NBAA 17th Annual Schedulers & Dispatchers (S&D) Conference held January 25 through 27 in San Antonio, TX, an increase of more than 45 percent over the 2005 total. The event's Exhibitor count also grew significantly, from 275 in 2005 to this year's 322, a 17-percent increase. This Conference, NBAA's largest, gives business aviation schedulers and dispatchers the most up-to-date information on issues related to their role in corporate flight departments. Aside from the educational sessions, workshops and speakers traditionally offered by the Conference, a growing Exhibitor presence continues to add value and appeal to this event. Boca Raton Event a Success, Proving Regional Forums Have Local Appeal
Business aviation community members from Florida and the Southeast U.S. region gathered at the NBAA Business Aviation Regional Forum held January 19 at Boca Raton Airport (BCT), where they attended industry briefings and viewed the latest products and services. Avitat Boca Raton hosted more than 900 Attendees and 59 Exhibitors, and the Static Display contained 19 of the latest business aircraft models. Photos from this event are available online at:

NBAA Accepting Exhibitors for Regional Forum in Dallas, TX

This Month's Leadership Conference to Feature New Mini Fair
The NBAA Leadership Conference, to be held February 22 and 23 in Dallas, is designed for existing and aspiring aviation managers who wish to develop and hone their leadership and management skills. As a complement to the Leadership Conference, this year for the first time, NBAA invites industry providers to participate in a Leadership Mini Fair. Vendors will be allowed to display their literature for a fee during the two-day event and visit with Conference Attendees during the continental breakfast, morning break, afternoon break and lunch. Leadership Conference Sponsorship Opportunities
NBAA invites all Associate Members to participate in the sponsorship opportunities offered at the Leadership Conference, which is expected to draw more than 150 Attendees. Companies wishing to sponsor an event will be acknowledged verbally during the Conference as well as in the final agenda and through signage. Additionally, a literature table is available for companies to display publications during the sponsored event. Companies sponsoring $3,000 or more receive one free meeting registration. NBAA is now accepting insertion orders for the 2006 NBAA Directory of Member Companies, Aircraft & Personnel. The 2006 edition will be available online and in print and will be delivered to NBAA's more than 7,000 Members. Maintenance Management Conference Exhibitor Information Now Online
NBAA has released the Exhibitor Prospectus for the 2006 NBAA Maintenance Management Conference, April 17 through 19 in Dallas, TX. This event gives NBAA Associate Members an opportunity to meet those individuals directly responsible for the maintenance of aircraft from various-sized corporate flight departments throughout the world. Tabletop exhibits will be limited to products or services directly involved with the maintenance of business aircraft. The deadline for Priority One Exhibitor applications is March 1.
