NBAA works closely with convention center and airport staff, security consultants and local law enforcement to ensure security of NBAA-BACE attendees and exhibitors and prepare for emergency response.

Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC)

All emergencies should be reported immediately to the LVCC Customer Safety Department. The Customer Safety Department is operational 24 hours a day and becomes the communications center and command post in the event of an emergency.

To report an emergency:

  • Call 702-892-7400
  • Text 78247
Dialing 911 will delay the response by medical personnel who may not be able to find or get to the location of the emergency.

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)

AEDs are located on all levels in marked boxes.

Nearest Emergency Room

Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center
3186 S Maryland Pkwy
Las Vegas, NV 89109

This hospital is approximately 3 miles from LVCC.

Evacuation Procedures

LVCC is equipped with a safety alarm system which includes horns, strobes and voice announcements. In the interest of safety, NBAA-BACE attendees and exhibitors should evacuate the facility when the alarm system is activated, complying with all voice announcement instructions.

Please note the closest emergency exit to your location within the LVCC. Remember, it may not be the same door you used to enter the building.

Aircraft Display at Henderson Executive Airport

Severe Weather Policy

When there is a severe weather warning or actual severe weather, NBAA will close the aircraft display at Henderson Executive Airport and work with exhibitors to evacuate and secure the site.

When there is a forecast for severe weather or possible winds in excess of 25 knots, NBAA will advise attendees and exhibitors of the possibility that the aircraft display may close.

When the actual winds are in excess of 40 knots, NBAA will close the aircraft display and instruct all attendees to seek shelter.

If the airport authority closes the airport for any reason, NBAA will close the aircraft display for the duration of the airport-directed closing.

NBAA-BACE Event Security Best Practices

  • If you are with a group, make sure to designate an assembly area for meeting outside the LVCC in case of evacuation.
  • Companies should designate a security point of contact who can maintain a list of all colleagues attending NBAA-BACE and verify that everyone has evacuated.
  • When exhibitors evacuate their booths at LVCC and aircraft display exhibits at Henderson Executive Airport, the last person in each area should make sure that no one is left behind.
  • If attending NBAA-BACE alone, notify your company, school or family in the event of an evacuation.

Any person who attends an NBAA convention, conference, seminar or other program grants permission to NBAA, its employees and agents (collectively "NBAA") to record his or her visual/audio images, including, but not limited to, photographs, digital images, voices, sound or video recordings, audio clips, or accompanying written descriptions, and, without notifying such person, to use his or her name and such images for any purpose of NBAA, including advertisements for NBAA and its programs.
