FAA Considerations in Structuring for Aircraft Ownership and Operations

Presented by Kent Jackson and Lori Edwards, Jackson & Wade, L.L.C.

Many aircraft buyers are aware of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), but may not fully understand that these regulations often conflict with the buyer’s economic and tax goals. During this session participants will learn how to:

  • Identify the basic FAA ownership and structuring options available
  • Identify common conflicts between FAA requirements and basic tax planning goals
  • Make use of FAA ownership options by reviewing real world scenarios
