Enhanced Exhibitor Information Now ‘Live’ for EBACE2013

Application Deadline for Indoor Exhibits Is Dec. 21.

Companies that plan to exhibit at the 2013 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2013) will find the Exhibitor application process more customer-oriented and easier to use, according to NBAA’s Linda Peters, vice president, exhibits.

“We’ve taken out the guesswork related to choosing an exhibit location by adding a ‘live capability’ that will enable Exhibitors to see a real-time floor plan when making their indoor exhibit space decisions,” said Peters. “The live capability makes the process much more interactive and useful for our Exhibitors.”

EBACE2013, the premier event for business aviation in Europe, will be held May 21 to 23 in Geneva, Switzerland. The show is jointly hosted each year by NBAA and the European Business Aviation Association, the leading association for business aviation in Europe. The three-day event will feature exhibits, a static display of aircraft and education sessions – all located at the Palexpo convention center and Geneva International Airport.

As in previous years, indoor exhibits will be located in Halls 5, 6 and 7 at Palexpo, with Hall 7 reserved for original aircraft manufacturers only. Hall 6 has been expanded through the addition of 4,500 square meters of exhibit space, and Peters expects a robust turnout of Exhibitors.

There were nearly 500 Exhibitors at EBACE2012.

The application/contract deadline for indoor exhibits is Dec. 21. Exhibitors will be placed in one of five different lotteries – depending on size of exhibit space, kind of exhibitor and number of contiguous years exhibiting – with the stand lottery taking place on Jan. 7. Live stand-lottery exhibit placements, using the new real-time floor plans, will take place starting Jan.14, and will be accomplished with EBACE staff and Exhibitors participating.

“We also plan on having a call center for Exhibitors that would like additional help going over the floor plan or with other aspects of the exhibit process,” added Peters.
