Uber Elevate’s Eric Allison to Discuss eVTOL Urban Transport at NBAA-BACE Keynote

NBAA welcomes Eric Allison, head of aviation programs at Uber, leading the Elevate initiative to re-imagine urban transportation through the air. He will speak about the developing industry for electrically-powered vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft during the Day 1 Keynote at NBAA-BACE. "The development of eVTOL aircraft holds significant promise for a wide variety of business aviation applications," said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. NBAA Welcomes FAA Acting Administrator Elwell, U.S. Rep. Abraham as Keynote Speakers at NBAA-BACE

FAA Acting Administrator Dan Elwell and U.S. Rep. Ralph Abraham (R-5-LA) will be Day 1 Keynote speakers at NBAA’s convention. Elwell oversees the FAA’s $16.4 billion-dollar budget and more than 47,000 employees, as well as the agency’s multibillion-dollar NextGen air traffic control modernization. Abraham, a member of the House Armed Services Committee, is a fixed-wing and helicopter pilot who flies reconnaissance missions for the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and is a certified flight instructor.
