First-Time Attendee Session at NBAA-BACE Aims to Optimize Show

Aug. 8, 2018

First-time attendees to NBAA’s Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) will have an opportunity to take part in an orientation session designed just for them the day before the convention opens, which will provide them with a chance to learn how to navigate the show and make the most out of their experience.

“As the premier business aviation event in the world, NBAA-BACE offers so much in the way of exhibitors, general and education sessions, static displays and more that it can be a bit overwhelming for first-timers,” said Courtney Oliveira, NBAA senior manager, event marketing. “By providing information on show highlights and events, how to find exhibitors or choose sessions, how to use the mobile convention app and many more tips, our goal for the session is to make the entire first-time NBAA-BACE experience easier and more efficient for first-time attendees.”

Attendees at the informal session – to be held from 3-4 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Orange County Convention Center – will have the opportunity to meet NBAA staff, as well as President and CEO Ed Bolen. Refreshments will be served and first-timers will be able to network with each other in addition to getting insider tips about NBAA-BACE.

“First-timers may not necessarily know how to go to the static display, and they might not think to put on sunscreen when they do go, for example,” said Oliveira. “It’s also really helpful for NBAA-BACE attendees to set their agenda for the show in advance, so that they are sure to visit all the exhibitors and attend all the sessions they wish. At this orientation session, we will help them plan their schedule in advance to make sure their NBAA-BACE experience is optimized.”

The First-Time Attendee session is complimentary to all those registered for NBAA-BACE, but those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP in advance using this link. Register for the first-time attendee event.
