Kelly Brothers Inspire at NBAA-BACE Session Honoring Aviation Heroes

The second day of NBAA-BACE featured a series of heroes and legends, with the dais including MedAire founder Joan Sullivan Garrett, hero-pilot Chesley B. “Sully” Sullenberger III and twin brother astronauts Mark and Scott Kelly, all of whom shared compelling stories about their successful careers. As session keynoters, the Kellys regaled the audience with numerous tales of their exploits as pilots and spacefarers, sharing lessons that they learned along the way. Learn more.

NBAA Honors Aviation Heroes Who Flew Humanitarian Relief Missions in 2017

During a special NBAA-BACE presentation, NBAA awarded its Al Ueltschi Award for Humanitarian Leadership to the everyday heroes in the general aviation community who flew critical relief missions to areas affected by hurricanes and earthquakes in 2017. “When nature can be at its worst, our industry can be at its best,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. Business Aviation History on Display as NBAA Celebrates 70th Anniversary

NBAA is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a look back at business aviation history. Several vintage aircraft from the earliest days of business aviation, including the groundbreaking Douglas DC-3, are on display at Henderson Executive Airport. Get a glimpse of the inside of the immaculately preserved DC-3, which appears as it would have in the 1947, the year of NBAA’s founding. Watch the video.
