NBAA's 65th Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2012) is less than two months away, bringing the entire business aviation industry together in Orlando, FL. FAA Acting Administrator Huerta

FAA Acting Administrator Huerta to Speak at NBAA2012

Michael Huerta, acting administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), will deliver remarks during the NBAA2012 Opening General Session on Oct. 30 at the Orange County Convention Center. “NBAA is honored to include Michael Huerta during the kickoff event to this year’s Convention,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. "His insights on a variety of issues of importance to the business aviation community will be of great interest to all Attendees." Huerta assumed the role of acting administrator last December; he had previously been FAA deputy administrator. Learn more.

Carville and Matalin

Political Couple Carville and Matalin Return to Convention Just Prior to Election

Renowned and entertaining political couple James Carville and Mary Matalin will be featured speakers in a second-day Opening Session held during NBAA2012 on Oct. 31. "The timing is perfect to welcome back James and Mary as speakers at NBAA2012," said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. "It will be most interesting to hear their insights and predictions as political insiders, just one week prior to the presidential election." Learn more.


NBAA2012 Presentation to Honor FedEx for Support of ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital

The Convention is traditionally a time for the Association to honor industry leaders with business aviation's top awards, and this year's show will be no exception. FedEx Express, a division of FedEx Corp., and its founder, Frederick W. Smith, will be honored during NBAA2012 with the Al Ueltschi Humanitarian Award, which recognizes the use of aviation for humanitarian purposes.
