Global Aviation

From Left: Ken Joyce, Michael Walker and Michaelle Olson As escalating fuel costs continue to impact the business aviation community, Global Aviation's Michael Walker and Ken Joyce came to NBAA's 61st Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2008) armed with the company's announcement of its "Global Fuel Solutions" program, a unique industry fuel-shopping program that is innovative in its simplicity and return on investment. The program, built on the premise that volume purchases drive greater discounts, provides customers with more affordable fuel options, as well as significantly streamlined billing processes. In fact, Walker notes, "Our clients are thrilled with the lower fuel prices, but many of them actually cite the time savings and administrative efficiencies as their favorite aspect of the program." For the 13-year-old Hillsboro, OR-based company, announcing such an innovative program at NBAA2008 is a natural extension of the benefits Attendees already enjoy just by being here. "Attending NBAA2008 means more than just an opportunity to promote our company," said Michaelle Olson, with Global Aviation's Charter Operations. "It's about finally getting the opportunity to meet face-to-face with the people we've only known from phone calls and emails, and it actually transforms the relationship." The family-owned Global Aviation, founded by Flo Newton, employees over 60 people and offers a charter department, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with a fleet of seven aircraft. As the premier fixed base operator in the Pacific Northwest, Global Aviation is a Bombardier-authorized Learjet, Challenger and Global Express AOG/Line Maintenance Facility.
