NBAA to Host First-Time 'Meet and Greet' With Safety Specialists at Oshkosh
As thousands of aviation enthusiasts gather in Oshkosh, WI this week for the Experimental Aircraft Association's (EAAs) annual AirVenture Oshkosh fly-in, NBAA representatives will offer them a place to cool off, join up and talk about single-pilot operator safety. For the first time at AirVenture, NBAA will arrange a "meet-and-greet" opportunity with members of the NBAA Safety Committee. "The Safety Committee has been focused on the unique challenges that face single-pilot operations," said NBAA Project Manager Peter Korns. "Oshkosh brings this community together in an exclusive setting, giving us the opportunity to share our work on the issues that affect these pilots." Minnesota Group Holding Golf Classic Aug. 24
The Minnesota Business Aviation Association (MBAA) will hold its 45th Annual Aviation Golf Classic on Monday, Aug. 24 at the TPC Twin Cities Private Golf Club, 11444 Tournament Players Parkway, Blaine, MN. Learn more and register.

Pacific Northwest Schedulers to Hold Fall Meeting in Seattle, Sept. 15
Join the Pacific Northwest Schedulers & Dispatchers Association (PRSDA) at the Downtown Seattle Renaissance Hotel for its annual Fall Meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 15. The guest speaker will be Shay Colson, cybersecurity engineer for the Internal Revenue Service, whose talk is titled "The Schedulers and Dispatchers Guide to Cybersecurity." North Texas Group Hosting Safety Show-Down, Golf Event Sept. 23 and 24
The North Texas Business Aviation Association (NTBAA) is hosting its third annual Safety Show-Down on Sept. 23 at the Addison Conference Center in Addison, TX, followed by a golf outing on Sept. 24 at Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine, TX. The NTBAA safety event theme is "Professionalism...the core of your safety culture." The keynote speaker will be Mark Maier, founding chair and director, Leadership Studies Program, College of Educational Studies at Chapman University. Michigan Group Hosting Air Transportation Expo Sept. 25
On Friday, Sept. 25, the Oakland County International Airport in Waterford Twp., in conjunction with the Michigan Business Aviation Association, is hosting an Air Transportation Expo. The one-day event is designed to demonstrate to the business community the attributes and effectiveness of utilizing general aviation aircraft. Business airplanes will be on display, vendor will be present and educational breakout sessions are planned. More than 1,500 businesses and industries in Southeast Michigan are being invited.
