The International Business Aviation Council is offering a Fundamentals of IS-BAO Workshop on Feb. 11 in Houston, TX. This workshop assists operators with their International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) implementation efforts and provides a practical approach to managing a safety management system based on ICAO principles. Atlanta-Area Business Aviation Maintenance Seminar on March 3
In conjunction with Duncan Aviation and Dallas Airmotive, the Georgia Business Aviation Association (GBAA) will host its 7th Annual Business Aviation Maintenance Seminar at the Riverside Epicenter from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 3. This event qualifies for inspection authorization (IA) renewal and is free for GBAA members and non-members alike. Idaho Group Hosting Event March 9 in Boise
The Idaho Business Aviation Association (IBAA) is hosting its next general luncheon meeting at Western Aircraft FBO at Boise Airport from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sponsorship and presentation will be provided by Dassault Falcon, which will also have a static display of its aircraft. NBAA's Fornarotto to Speak at Michigan Legislative Day on March 15
The Michigan Business Aviation Assn. is holding a Legislative Day at the State Capitol Building on March 15 in Lansing, MI. NBAA Vice President, Government Affairs Christa Fornarotto will serve as a speaker at this event, and NBAA regional representatives also will be on-hand to meet with NBAA and MiBAA members at the event. Southern California Group Holding Golf Benefit May 16

San Antonio Aviation and Aerospace Hall of Fame
To honor San Antonio's aviation and aerospace history, the Dee Howard Foundation (DHF) and the Partnership for Corporate Aviation Training (PCAT) have joined together to establish the San Antonio Aviation and Aerospace Hall of Fame. The inaugural honorees will be inducted at a dinner on March 31, 2016. Learn more.

Pacific Northwest Group Hosting Safety Day April 7
The Pacific Northwest Business Aviation Association (PNBAA) will host its Eighth Annual Safety Day at the Museum of Flight on Boeing Field in Seattle on April 7. 2016 Carolinas Aviation Regional Safety Seminar Set for April 27
The Carolinas Aviation Regional Safety Seminar takes place April 27 at Duke Energy Hangar in Charlotte, NC. The keynote speaker will be Jeff Skiles, first officer of US Airways Flight 1549. Other speakers for the day include: Al Gorthy (Capt. USN Ret.), Paul Ratte (USAIG), Charlie Sawyer, Eddie Shields (FAASTeam), Steve Ritchie (USAF, Ret.), Rick Boyer (SCANA), Robert Sumwalt (NTSB) and JD McHenry (Global Jet Services). Business Aviation Safety Summit Set for May 5 and 6 in Austin, TX
The annual Business Aviation Safety Summit (BASS) is set for May 5 and 6 in Austin, TX. The forum provides an opportunity for the business aviation industry to meet in a collaborative environment to identify safety concerns, devise approaches to reduce risk and implement initiatives to improve safety. The summit, organized by Flight Safety Foundation in partnership with NBAA, covers safety, training, practical solutions management, human factors and other issues for every segment of the business aviation industry. Tampa Bay Group Holding Golfing Charity Event May 27
The Tampa Bay Aviation Association is holding its annual charity golf event on May 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at a location to be announced. Past events have raised more than $39,000 for the All Children's Hospital Guild Seminole/Largo Branch, which benefits the All Children's Hospital and its programs.
