October 12, 2012

NBAA Light Business Airplane Buyer's GuideThe 2012 edition of the NBAA Light Business Airplane (LBA) Buyer's Guide is now available for ordering online at First published in 2009 as an exclusive Member benefit, the guide aids small businesses in selecting an airplane that's right for their needs by providing an overview of all the light business airplanes currently in production.

In assembling the guide, NBAA gathered extensive information from manufacturers about single- and twin-engine piston aircraft, turboprops and light jets to enable operators to pick the best airplane for their business travel demands from the aircraft marketplace. The publication collects the basic specification and performance data for 39 light business airplanes in eight categories, including external and internal dimensions, weight limits, horsepower, and takeoff and landing distances.

The LBA Buyer's Guide is a convenient, time-saving reference, allowing NBAA Members to make apples-to-apples comparisons for every kind of airplane all in one place, instead of visiting many different manufacturers' web sites.

Sample copies of the 2012 edition are being provided at the Light Business Airplane Conference, which is jointly hosted this month by NBAA and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) during both AOPA Summit in Palm Springs, CA and the NBAA 65th Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2012) in Orlando, FL.

The LBA Buyer's Guide and LBA Conference are two ways NBAA helps business people who rely on or are looking to invest in light airplanes. For more information on how NBAA helps light business airplane users, contact NBAA at
