Joan Sullivan Garrett

Founder and Chairman, MedAire, Inc.

Joan Sullivan Garrett, one of two Associate Member Advisors on the NBAA Board, founded MedAire in 1985 and served as Chief Executive Officer until 2006. She was the recipient of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001 and recently served as the Vice Chair of the Board of Governors of the Flight Safety Foundation. Ms. Sullivan Garrett also consults with the Federal Aviation Administration and has provided congressional testimony. She was appointed Chair of NBAA’s Associate Member Advisory Council in 2013.
