Chris Strong
Chris Strong serves as NBAA senior vice president, events. He is responsible for all aspects of planning, implementation and promotion of NBAA’s annual Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in the United States, as well as NBAA’s international shows in Europe (EBACE) and Asia (ABACE).  Additionally, Strong is responsible for NBAA’s conferences including Schedulers & Dispatchers, Maintenance, International Operators and Leadership, as well as Regional Forums.
 
Strong joined NBAA in January 2009 as vice president, membership marketing. He has three decades of trade association experience, including marketing strategy and implementation, acquisition and retention of members, membership database management, member services, brand strategy and collateral revenue programs.
 
He previously served as the director of business development for the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association (SGMA). At the SGMA, he was responsible for revenue programs including membership, trade shows, affinity offerings and educational events.
 
Prior to coming to the SGMA, Strong spent 15 years with the National Association of Manufacturers as vice president for membership and member programs.
 
Strong holds a B.A. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and an MBA from the University of Baltimore. He is also a certified association executive and a member of the American Society of Association Executives.
