The following list of web resources has been compiled by NBAA in order to assist Members in locating information about volcanic activity that is relevant to their flight operations.

Volcanic Ash Advisory Centres (VAAC)
Established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), nine VAAC located around the world are responsible for advising international aviation of the location and movement of clouds of volcanic ash.
Washington DC VAAC
The Washington DC VAAC, which is resposible for contiguous united states and Hawaii, offers resources through the National National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) web site.
Volcanic Event Imagery Index
Developed by the NOAA Operational Significant Event Imagery (OSEI) Team, this resource has provides composite images of the movements of volcanic ash clouds.
National Volcanic Ash Operations Plan for Aviation
Guidance from the Office of the Federal Coordinator for Meteorology (OFCM) for the Alaska and Northern Marianna Islands regions.
Volcano Webcam Links
NOAA has compiled links to webcam images from volcanos all over the world.
