WASHINGTON, DC, May 31, 2007 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announced today that the Association will open the doors of its 60th Annual Meeting & Convention free of charge to college students and people in the local business aviation community on the event's third day – Thursday, September 27 – as part of Georgia Aviation Day.
NBAA's 2007 Convention, to be held from September 25 to 27 in Atlanta, GA, will serve as the site for commemorating significant milestones in aviation, including NBAA's 60th anniversary and Georgia's centennial of flight, marked by the 100th anniversary of aviator Ben Epps' flight over an open field in Athens, GA.
The NBAA 60th Annual Meeting & Convention will build on the successes of last year's event, which broke numerous records, with 33,088 Attendees, 1,140 Exhibitors, 5,235 10-foot by 10-foot booth spaces, 115 aircraft on Static Display and over 100 Information Sessions.
College students or members of Georgia's business aviation community with an interest in attending the NBAA Convention on September 27 should register. Online registration will be provided on the NBAA 60th Annual Meeting & Convention web site at www.nbaa.org/2007.
