LABACE2004: New Partnerships Are About to Take FlightContact: Cassandra Bosco
Washington, DC, August 13, 2003 – Members of the business aviation community worldwide are invited to attend the 2nd Annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE2004), the only Latin American exhibition of its kind to focus exclusively on business aviation, from April 15 to 17, 2004, in São Paulo, Brazil. This event is organized jointly by the Associação Brasileira de Aviação Geral (ABAG) and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).
When LABACE debuted in March 2003, it exceeded all expectations. Nearly 3,000 registered Attendees viewed the products and services of 88 Exhibiting Companies at the Transamérica Expo Center, and the Static Display at nearby Congonhas Airport featured 16 aircraft. Potential topics to be addressed at LABACE2004 include:
- Safety and security initiatives
- Business helicopter operations
- CNS/ATM and equitable access
- Future of fractional ownership in Latin America
- Aircraft ownership options
- Brazilian regulatory update
NBAA represents the aviation interests of more than 7,300 companies that own or operate general aviation aircraft as an aid to the conduct of their business, or are involved with business aviation. NBAA Member Companies earn annual revenues approaching $5 trillion — a number that is about half the gross domestic product — and employ more than 19 million people worldwide. The NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention is the world's largest display of civil aviation products and services.
