New Online Tool Helps Companies Customize Member Profile

Did you know that the information listed in your NBAA Member Profile is reflected in the Association’s Directory of Member Companies, Aircraft & Personnel? Research shows that Member Companies use the printed Member Directory all year long, which is why it’s critical that your profile is current.

In March, NBAA unveiled “My NBAA Profile” – a real-time, web-based resource enabling Members to change or add information to their record in the NBAA Member database 24/7 – which will make updating information easier than ever before. The tool also allows NBAA to personalize and enhance your overall Member experience by enabling the Association to better cater to specific needs and interests.

“Our Member Directory is the most comprehensive source of business aviation resources in the industry, so it’s critical that Members’ information is up to date and accurate,” said Connie Penne, vice president, membership. “The NBAA staff is working on the next Member Directory now, so this is a good time to update your Member record.”

“Our goal is to provide relevant benefits to help our Members succeed with their business and enhance their overall Member experience,” she added. “This new tool will make it easier and faster than ever before for Members to keep their information current.”

In past years, Members were asked to mail or fax “update forms” to NBAA. This year, for the first time, Members can participate in this process online, making changes and updates faster and easier, and ensuring that the printed Member Directory will reflect up-to-date information. Changes also will be reflected immediately in the Online Member Directory, launched last spring.

“My NBAA Profile” enables every individual in the Association’s database to update his or her contact information, e-mail addresses and communications preferences. Representatives for each Member Company can modify the company’s address, aircraft, personnel listing, and products and services.

Individual Member employees also can use this resource to change their Air Mail subscription profiles, address information, communication preferences, passwords and profile settings.

“My NBAA Profile” not only will help Member Companies streamline the Member Directory update process each year, but also will ensure the online version of the Member Directory is always current. Members no longer have to wait a year to find out which new companies have joined NBAA, or what new services are being offered.

This new service also will help NBAA continue to enhance your Member experience and provide the most comprehensive and personalized service possible.
