Will Your Company Be Represented in Orlando? Secure Your Spot Now
The NBAA 65th Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2012) will offer the most efficient opportunity for business aviation buyers and sellers to connect – all in one place, all at one time. Indoor exhibits in the North and South Halls of the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) will occupy nearly one million square feet of exhibit space. A Light Business Airplane Static Display will be located directly outside the exhibit hall – on-site at the OCCC. In addition, a Static Display of Aircraft at Showalter Flying Service on Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) will feature over 100 aircraft. Get Tickets Now for NBAA/CAN Soiree With Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons
Entertain your customers, network with your industry peers, support Corporate Angel Network (CAN) and be treated to a private concert by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons at the NBAA/CAN Soiree, an Evening With Angels. This event will be held Oct. 31, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of The Peabody Orlando, in conjunction with NBAA2012. Advertise in Show Guide to Share Your Company's Message
The NBAA2012 Show Guide is distributed to all Attendees with their credentials and contains pertinent information relative to exhibits, education sessions, social gatherings, shuttle bus service and other events at the show. Show Guide advertisers also have the exclusive opportunity to purchase web advertising on the official NBAA2012 web site. Insertion orders for advertising in the NBAA2012 Show Guide are due Sept. 7, and artwork is due Sept. 14. NBAA/CAN Soiree

New Air Traffic Procedure at Orlando Executive Airport in Time for NBAA2012
A new procedure at Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) in Florida – host facility for the Static Display of Aircraft at Showalter Flying Service during NBAA2012 – will allow more efficient operations year-round at ORL by enabling controllers to position aircraft on the runway prior to takeoff clearance. "NBAA thanks the staff at Orlando Executive for making this change, which not only will assist with operations during our upcoming Convention, but also will benefit the airport and pilots throughout the year," said Bob Lamond, NBAA director, air traffic services and infrastructure. Although the deadline for NBAA2012 Exhibitor profile information to be updated online for inclusion in the print edition of the Show Guide was Aug. 18, it's not too late to ensure that your company information is correct for the online Exhibitor Directory and NBAA mobile app. Contact NBAA's Julia Oden at joden@nbaa.org or Margie Morgan at mmorgan@nbaa.org for log-in credentials. Exhibitors can access their profiles through the Exhibitor Service Center.

NBAA Warns of Phony Convention Directories and Guides
NBAA is once again warning NBAA2012 Exhibitors to be wary of directory and show guide publishers falsely claiming to represent the Association. NBAA is the only official publisher of show guides for Association-hosted events, including NBAA2012. Exhibitors also should be wary of solicitations from "rogue" housing companies, exhibit companies and any other unauthorized companies promoting exhibit-related services. Sponsorships Available for Chairman's Charity Classic
The NBAA 16th Annual Chairman's Charity Classic Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, Oct. 29, at Grand Cypress Golf Club in Orlando, FL, in conjunction with NBAA2012. Proceeds will benefit NBAA Charities, which raises funds to support philanthropic organizations and initiatives that use general aviation airplanes for humanitarian purposes. Several sponsorships are now available. All sponsor packages include recognition on the sponsor banner at the course, and most packages also include player positions in the tournament. Get ABACE2013 and EBACE2013 Updates at Convention
Planning is underway for NBAA's 2013 international exhibitions, and Attendees at NBAA2012 in Orlando this October can stop by NBAA's booth to get the latest information on the two events. NBAA's Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE2013) will be held in Shanghai, China, from April 16 to 18, and the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2013) will take place in Geneva, Switzerland from May 21 to 23. To find NBAA's booth as well as other exhibit booth locations at NBAA2012, review the online floor plan.

Limited Exhibit Space Available for Seattle Regional Forum
NBAA's next Business Aviation Regional Forum will take place in Seattle, WA on Sept. 20, where indoor exhibits will showcase the latest products and services and an outdoor static display will feature the newest aircraft models. Session topics will include a Washington tax update, an update on the future air navigation system, mitigation strategies for loss of control in-flight and best practices for transitioning from paper to digital charts. The event provides an opportunity to underscore the importance of the industry to local leaders in business and government. Register online, plan to exhibit or view the program schedule.

Make Plans to Participate at Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference
NBAA's 24th Annual Schedulers & Dispatchers (S&D) Conference is the biggest annual educational event providing timely and valuable information on topics of interest to those responsible for coordinating the use of business aircraft. Next year's event will be held in San Antonio, TX, from Jan. 22 to 25. The event will feature hundreds of exhibits from aviation products and services providers, and a number of sponsorship opportunities. The 2013 Exhibitor Prospectus is mailing in the coming weeks, and the lottery deadline will be Sept. 28. 2013 Conference Schedule Is Set
NBAA conferences are designed to promote professional development and operational excellence for all members of the flight department. Dates and locations are now set for the following 2013 conferences: Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference, Jan. 22–25 in San Antonio, TX; Aircraft Registration Conference, Feb. 7–8 in Bonita Springs, FL; Leadership Conference, Feb. 12–13 in Austin, TX; International Operators Conference, March 4–7 in San Diego, CA; Maintenance Management Conference, April 29 to May 2 in Fort Worth, TX; and Flight Attendants/Flight Technicians Conference, June 21–22 in Washington, DC.
