Mary Matalin, James Carville to Keynote During NBAA2012
Best-selling co-authors and key players on the national political stage, Mary Matalin and James Carville will be the General Session keynote speakers on Day 2 of the NBAA 65th Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2012), to be held from October 30 to November 1 in Orlando, FL. With each having over 30 years of experience in politics, Matalin and Carville will provide an enlightening and entertaining look at today's most important political issues as well as a behind-the-scenes look at politics inside Washington. Attendees shouldn't miss the insights to be shared by these two insiders, who will be speaking at NBAA2012 just days before the presidential election. Sign Up for This Year's Chairman's Charity Classic
The NBAA 16th Annual Chairman's Charity Classic Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, October 29, at Grand Cypress Golf Club in Orlando, FL, in conjunction with NBAA2012. Proceeds will benefit NBAA Charities, which raises funds to support philanthropic organizations and initiatives that use general aviation airplanes for humanitarian purposes. Several sponsorships are now available. All sponsor packages include recognition on the sponsor banner at the course, and most packages also include player positions in the tournament. NBAA's Convention is the year's most significant media event for the business aviation industry, bringing together business leaders, government officials, manufacturers, business aviation department personnel and others involved in nearly all aspects of business aviation. The NBAA2012 Press Conference Room Reservation Form is available online, enabling companies to schedule press conferences on Monday, October 29 (Press Day); Tuesday, October 30; and Wednesday, October 31, at the Orange County Convention Center and Orlando Executive Airport (ORL). Attendance, Enthusiasm High at NBAA's Teterboro Regional Forum
Business aviation plays a vital role in driving job creation and economic growth in New Jersey, NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen told a record-setting crowd at NBAA's Regional Forum held June 7 at Teterboro Airport (TEB). Bolen highlighted the significance of the upcoming election and urged NBAA Members to know where their candidates stand on business aviation issues and take action on Election Day. The event at Teterboro shattered the record as the best-attended Regional Forum with 2,486 Attendees, more than 120 Exhibitors and 35 aircraft on display. NBAA's next Business Aviation Regional Forum will take place in Seattle, WA on September 20, where indoor exhibits will showcase the latest products and services and an outdoor static display will feature the newest aircraft models.
