New for 2011: Outdoor Static Display Area at Convention
Center
Making its debut at NBAA2011 in Las Vegas will be a new Outdoor Static Display area located immediately adjacent to the indoor exhibit area. The new
display will be in addition to the traditional Static Display of Aircraft at Henderson Executive Airport and will provide unprecedented Attendee
access to aircraft just steps from the indoor exhibits and education sessions at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The new Outdoor Static Display will
be located in the Silver parking lot adjacent to the convention center and will have only real airplanes – no mock-ups, no tented displays, no
chalets. Depending on their size, it's expected that there will be between 15 and 20 aircraft on display in the new area. Most will have wingspans of
under 50 feet, which is the size that can be towed from McCarran International Airport, about four miles away. For full details and to take advantage
of this new option, visit:

Exhibitors Visit Las Vegas as Momentum Builds for NBAA2011
Working alongside major Exhibitors to prepare for NBAA2011, the Association's Convention staff conducted a site visit in Las Vegas, NV last month.
The Exhibitors and NBAA staff toured the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Executive Airport. Over the last seven years, local leaders have
partnered with NBAA to improve Las Vegas' infrastructure and facilities to provide the best setting possible for NBAA's Convention – now the
fourth-largest trade show in the United States. Learn more at:

Beware of Unauthorized Show Guide and Housing Solicitations for EBACE2011
EBACE2011 Exhibitors should watch for solicitations from Construct Data Publishers, a.s., requesting that Exhibitors update listings for the
"Exhibitors Directory for Fairs & Exhibitions." This is not an official EBACE publication, and the company has no affiliation with EBACE, EBAA or
NBAA. By completing these forms, Exhibitors are agreeing to place paid listings in the directory. The official show guide for EBACE2011 is the
EBACE2011 Show Guide & Directory of Exhibiting Companies. Similarly, be advised that HH Events is the official housing company for
EBACE2011, and Exhibitors and Attendees should be wary of other companies making the same claim. For more information about official EBACE vendors,
contact NBAA's Margie Morgan at mmorgan@nbaa.org. Visit the official EBACE site at:

Meritorious Service Award Has Rich History: Submit Your
Nomination
NBAA has always recognized that the success of business flying can be attributed in part to the pioneering efforts of people from all segments of
aviation. That is why the Association has, nearly every year for the past six decades, presented its Meritorious Service to Aviation Award to an
individual who has made significant lifelong contributions to aviation. Members are encouraged to submit nominations for the 2011 award by February
25. Review an article about some of the distinguished recipients of this award, from Arthur Godfrey in 1950 to Arnold Palmer in 2010:

Nominate a Business Aviation Leader for NBAA's Doswell
Award
NBAA also is still accepting nominations for the John P. "Jack" Doswell Award, which recognizes lifelong individual achievement in support of the
aims, goals and objectives of business aviation. Recipients of the Doswell Award have demonstrated their commitment to business aviation in a variety
of ways. Some have been innovators who changed the face of business aviation; others built outstanding aviation support organizations and volunteered
their time to support various industry causes. If you know an industry leader who is deserving of this recognition, consider submitting a nomination
by the February 25 deadline. Learn more:
