ABACE Makes Proud Return to Shanghai in 2012
NBAA and the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) have announced plans for the reintroduction of the Asian Business Aviation Conference &
Exhibition (ABACE). The event, which will be held annually beginning in 2012 at the Hongqiao Airport in Shanghai, China, marks the much-anticipated
return of the first and most successful trade show in Asia dedicated solely to business aviation. ABACE2012 will be held in the new Shanghai Hawker
Pacific Business Aviation Center from February 28 to March 1, 2012. It will include exhibits in the facility's 4,000 square-meter hangar, a Static
Display of Aircraft outside on its expansive ramp, and on-site education sessions led by industry veterans with knowledge of the region's business
and regulatory environment. Learn more at:

NBAA Announces 2011 Regional Forum Schedule
Studies have shown that companies using aircraft for business purposes generate jobs, local investment and economic activity in the towns where they
operate. NBAA's Business Aviation Regional Forums are designed to meet the local needs of these businesses by providing a venue for exchanging
information about specific airport policies, environmental protocols, safety and security proposals, taxation and other issues. These events also
offer an opportunity to underscore the importance of the industry to local leaders in business and government. In 2011, NBAA will hold Regional
Forums in Boca Raton, FL on February 17; Dallas, TX on April 14; White Plains, NY on June 8; and San Jose, CA on July 14. Learn more at:

Cross-Border Issues Conference Next Month in Montreal
NBAA and the Canadian Business Aviation Association (CBAA) next month will jointly present a new Cross-Border Issues Conference, to be held November
18 and 19 in Montreal, Canada at the Hilton Montreal Bonaventure. With over $1.5 billion in goods moving across the border between the United States
and Canada each day, many business aircraft operators from both countries make frequent cross-border flights. This conference will address the
challenges faced by operators when crossing the border and flying in the airspace of the U.S. or Canada. For sponsorship opportunities, contact
NBAA's Dina Green at dgreen@nbaa.org. For more information, visit:

for coordinating the use of business aircraft. Now in its 22nd year, the 2011 event will feature hundreds of exhibits by aviation products and
services providers from February 9 to 11 at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center in Georgia. Exhibiting and sponsorship

Successful NBAA2010 Demonstrates Show's Continued
Value
As last week's NBAA 63rd Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2010) came to a close, Association President and CEO Ed Bolen said the highly
successful show reflects its continuing value, even as the industry confronts a turbulent marketplace. "Even in this climate, people and companies
continue to seek out effective venues for conducting business, sharing information and networking, which is why NBAA's Convention remains a
must-attend on the industry's calendar," Bolen said. The show included 1,083 Exhibitors – more than the count for last year's event – and
a sold-out Static Display of Aircraft with 93 aircraft. Attendee registration reached 24,206, up more than 5 percent for attendance at the 2009
Convention. Review additional show results at:

Arnold Palmer Honored for Meritorious Service to Business
Aviation
NBAA's first-ever second-day General Session, held on October 20 at NBAA2010, was a celebration of heroes that culminated with presentation of the
2010 NBAA Meritorious Service Award to golfing legend, businessman and American icon Arnold Palmer. The award, NBAA's highest, is presented annually
to an individual who, by virtue of a lifetime of personal dedication, has made identifiable contributions that have materially advanced the

During Convention, Bolen Tells CNBC 'No Plane No
Gain'
Last week, NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen looked to NBAA's Annual Meeting & Convention as an opportunity to help spread the message of the No
Plane No Gain advocacy campaign through interviews with CNBC and other news outlets. As one example, Bolen appeared on CNBC to explain the value of
business aircraft to companies. "What you have with business aviation is an opportunity to go to communities with little or no airline service, to be
able to do three stops in one day instead of one stop in three days, to be basically able to talk en route about proprietary information, and
essentially turn travel time into productive work time" Bolen told the CNBC hosts. Watch the video at:

Study Says Business Aviation Gives Edge to Small, Mid-Size
Companies
A new study, conducted by NEXA Advisors, shows that small and mid-sized companies using business aviation achieved greater success in important
measures of performance than comparable companies without business aircraft. The study, conducted for NBAA as part of the No Plane No Gain advocacy
campaign, demonstrates that the enterprise value business aviation confers on Standard & Poor's 500 index companies also applies to S&P 600
small-cap companies. "This study reveals that use of a business airplane is a sign of a well-managed company, regardless of the size of the
enterprise," said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. Learn more, and access a copy of the study by visiting:

Advocacy Videos Tell Good-News Story About Business Aviation
As part of the No Plane No Gain campaign, NBAA has made available four new advocacy videos that show the value of business aviation. Business
Aviation: The Story of NBAA and the Industry chronicles the history of the business aviation community and NBAA's work to support companies using
business aircraft. Business Aviation Works shows how business aircraft benefit companies of all sizes. No Plane No Gain: Business Aviation
Makes Its Voice Heard details the progress of the industry's advocacy campaign, and explains how individuals can contribute to the success of the
program. Finally, The Business Aviation Community's Airlift to Haiti is a documentary of the industry's work to help victims of the 2010 Haiti
earthquake. Complimentary copies of the videos in DVD format are available now by using the secure online order form at:

Convention
The Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta was covered with the No Plane No Gain message last week for NBAA's Convention, with a larger-than-life
banner ad featuring campaign spokesmen Neil Armstrong, Arnold Palmer and Warren Buffett as the centerpiece. "Three of the first and foremost people
of our time are strong supporters of business aviation," proclaims the banner depicting the three legends of aviation and business. Learn more about

Benefit Raises Over $220,000 to Support Life-Saving CAN
Flights
More than $220,000 was raised at the NBAA/CAN Charity Benefit held during NBAA2010 on October 20, with the proceeds going to Corporate Angel Network
(CAN). Based in White Plains, NY, CAN is the only charitable organization in the United States dedicated to arranging free flights for cancer
patients to treatment centers using the empty seats on business aircraft. "For nearly 30 years, the business aviation community has stepped up to
help, and now flies between 250 and 300 cancer patients a month to specialized and critical treatment," said Peter Fleiss, CAN president and CEO. "On
behalf of these patients, we at Corporate Angel Network thank you all." Learn more about the event at:

Community Build
During NBAA2010, hundreds of Convention Attendees and local volunteers worked together to renovate the playgrounds, classrooms and athletic
facilities at the Brookhaven Boys & Girls Club in the Convention's host city of Atlanta. The community enhancement project, supported by 80
