NBAA2007 an Enormous Success, Breaks Exhibitor Record
NBAA announced a record total of 1,152 Exhibitors at its 60th Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2007), a sold-out Static Display of Aircraft at
nearby Fulton County Airport-Brown Field (FTY) and a final attendance total of over 32,000. "This was an enormously successful Convention, and NBAA's
60th anniversary has been an enormously successful year," NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen said. Next year's Annual Meeting & Convention will take

NBAA and Over 500 Volunteers Build Aviation-Themed Playground for
Atlanta Elementary School
In conjunction with NBAA2007, and in honor of NBAA's 60th anniversary and Georgia's centennial of flight, the Association joined KaBOOM!, The Home
Depot, many Member Companies and the local community around Fulton County Airport to build an aviation-themed playground at Fain Elementary School in
Atlanta. The completed playground is 7,400 square feet an area large enough to park 50 cars and features two playground areas, an
outdoor classroom with benches and chalkboards, an airplane-shaped sandbox and a community garden. NBAA thanks the 554 volunteers and sponsors from

Golf Classic Raises More Than $40,000 for NBAA
Charities
NBAA's 11th Annual Chairman's Charity Classic Golf Tournament raised more than $40,000 for NBAA Charities, a charitable fund established to provide
support to worthy causes in the business aviation community. A total of 260 golfers played at Stone Mountain Golf Club near Atlanta. "Thanks to the
golfers and many generous sponsors, this year's Chairman's Charity Classic raised funds that will help NBAA Charities continue its support for a wide
range of philanthropic organizations," said NBAA Vice President, Membership Connie Penne, who also serves as tournament director. To read the full

NBAA's 61st Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2008) will be held from Monday, October 6, to Wednesday, October 8, 2008, in Orlando, FL. NBAA2008

Attend the Upcoming NBAA Regional Forum in Oakland, CA
NBAA will host its next Regional Forum on November 8 at Kaiser Air on Metropolitan Oakland International Airport (OAK) in Oakland, CA. The event is a
one-day learning and networking experience designed to meet the needs of the regional business aviation community, and to provide an introduction to
local business leaders interested in learning more about business aviation. The Oakland event will feature approximately 30 aircraft on Static
Display, 60 indoor Exhibitors and hundreds of Attendees. The Federal Aviation Adminstration's Air Traffic Control (ATC) management personnel will be
available to answer questions on ATC policies and procedures in the Western region. The event also will feature a number of briefings catered

Sponsorships, Exhibitors Still Being Accepted for Upcoming S&D
Conference
NBAA's 19th Annual Schedulers & Dispatchers (S&D) Conference, to be held next year from January 29 to February 1 at the Savannah
International Trade and Convention Center in Georgia, is still accepting sponsorships and exhibit booth space applications. NBAA expects more than
2,400 to attend the 2008 Conference, and 300 Exhibitors have already registered. The event provides a forum for schedulers and dispatchers from
across the country to meet, network and share industry best practices. A number of sessions will address current needs and issues for the profession.

2008 Regional Forums Schedule Announced
NBAA has announced the dates and locations for the 2008 Business Aviation Regional Forums. The Association provides several Regional Forums each year
to bring business aircraft owners, operators, manufacturers, customers and other industry personnel together for one-day events at some of the best
airports and FBOs around the world. The 2008 lineup includes: San Antonio, TX, March 27; Las Vegas, NV, April 24; Dayton, OH, June 26; and Bedford,

NBAA Releases Journal of Business Aviation at NBAA2007
In Atlanta, NBAA released advance copies of the NBAA Journal of Business Aviation. The issue offers a lineup of articles for business aviation
managers, including features about the complexities of leasing business aircraft, tips for flight departments undergoing a merger, use of very light
jets in support of business, storm strategies, flight attendant training, work/life balance issues and electronic flight bags. With a new, shorter
title, the NBAA Journal of Business Aviation has widened its focus to include not only management and safety topics but also operations,
maintenance and career development articles. Members can expect to receive the publication in October, and are encouraged to direct any feedback to
editor@nbaa.org.
