News & Announcements
Highlights From ABACE2007 Available Online
The second Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE2007) was held February 6 and 7 at AsiaWorld Expo Convention Center located on the perimeter of Hong Kong International Airport. "It truly was a superb venue with indoor exhibits and Information Sessions located in AsiaWorld Expo, a short bus ride from the Static Display of Aircraft at Hong Kong Business Aviation Center", said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. "The proximity of the two facilities made it very convenient for Attendees and Exhibitors to access all that ABACE had to offer." ABACE2007 closed with more than 2,200 registered Attendees, 65 indoor Exhibitors and 12 aircraft on Static Display, making it the largest business aviation event in the region. An ABACE photo gallery, a podcast interview with Ed Bolen and several presentations related to business aviation in the region are available on the ABACE web site at:

Attend PDP-Accredited IS-BAO Implementation Workshop at EBACE2007
The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) is an industry code of best practices that was developed by the business aviation community to enhance the safety, security, efficiency and effectiveness of flight departments and on-demand charter operations. The IS-BAO Implementation Workshop to be held on May 21 in Geneva, the day before EBACE2007, is an opportunity for business aircraft operators to learn more about IS-BAO, share ideas with others who are implementing it and build a network that will help guide them through the process. The event provides an IS-BAO overview and guidance on implementation, the risk-assessment process, safety management systems and audit considerations. IS-BAO implementation will be one way of meeting the requirements of the upcoming EU OPS. Register for the IS-BAO Workshop at:
