For First Time in Its History, NBAA Convention Sells Out in Advance
With Exhibitor records already broken several weeks before opening day, the NBAA 59th Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2006) promises to be a
memorable one. The exhibit floor has completely sold out for the first time in Convention history, with close to 1,150 Exhibitors registered and
5,233 10-foot by 10-foot booth spaces sold, an almost 9 percent increase in booth spaces compared to the 2005 show. This year's event also will
feature 11 fixed-wing aircraft and four helicopters at the Orange County Convention Center, the most aircraft ever shown on the exhibit floor. The
Static Display of Aircraft likewise has sold out, with more than 115 aircraft expected at Orlando Executive Airport. For more information about this
record-breaking show, or to register, visit:

Bolen, Other GA Leaders to Discuss Unified Opposition to
User Fee Proposals at NBAA Convention
General aviation is under threat from a proposal by the commercial airlines to shift $2 billion in costs to general aviation and seize control over
the nation's aviation system. The airlines are looking to the FAA's reauthorization process (scheduled for 2007) as an opportunity to overhaul the
way the FAA is funded and governed. On October 18 during NBAA2006, NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen will host a panel forum to discuss the airlines'
proposal with leaders from the Experimental Aircraft Association, General Aviation Manufacturers Association, National Air Transportation Association
and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. The panel will discuss the issues at stake for the entire GA community, the future of the U.S. aviation
system and the FAA, and why everyone associated with general aviation must be involved in efforts to defeat user fee proposals for general aviation.

Cessna to Receive New NBAA Albert Ueltschi Humanitarian
Award During Convention Awards Luncheon
During NBAA2006, the Association will present Cessna Aircraft Company with the inaugural NBAA Albert Ueltschi Humanitarian Award in recognition of
the leadership and spirit of service demonstrated by the Cessna Citation Special Olympics Airlift. "The generosity of the hundreds of Cessna Citation
owners and operators required to accomplish this massive humanitarian effort epitomizes the sense of community and service that NBAA intends to
recognize with the Ueltschi Humanitarian Award," said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. "We created this award to bring recognition to the often
unsung efforts of the business aviation community to pitch in whenever there is an opportunity." The award will be presented on October 17 during an
invitation-only Awards Luncheon sponsored by Fortune. For more information, visit:

'NBAA Charities' to Serve as Moniker for Long-standing
Philanthropic Efforts
The term "NBAA Charities" will serve as the single label used to represent the variety of support NBAA provides or generates for charitable and
philanthropic organizations. Through the years, the Association has served as a natural focal point for the generation of assistance to charitable
organizations within the business aviation community. Funds and other assistance provided by NBAA and the business aviation community have helped
support a wide range of philanthropic organizations and causes. Going forward, such charitable organizations "will be better served with a single
name, 'NBAA Charities,'" said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. "I am confident that taking this approach will increase awareness and strengthen our
philanthropic efforts." At this year's Convention, proceeds from the Association's 10th Annual Chairman's Charity Classic and Benefit Auctions will
benefit NBAA Charities. For more information, visit:
