Marti Smith Promoted to Director, Regional Forums & Static Displays
NBAA has promoted Marti Smith to director, regional forums & static displays, the position previously held by Suzanne Cole, who left the
Association last month to pursue other endeavors. In her new role, Smith will be responsible for management of NBAA Static Displays at the NBAA
Annual Meeting & Convention, EBACE, LABACE, ABACE and Regional Forums. Most recently serving as senior manager, exhibits, Smith joined the
Association in June of 1998 after six years with Signature Flight Support at Reagan Washington National Airport, where she had worked as the customer
service/operations supervisor since 1992. "With Marti's knowledge of NBAA Exhibitors, and her experience working at an FBO, she's a natural for this
position," said Senior Vice President, Conventions, Seminars & Forums Kathleen Blouin. In other staff news, Margie Rowson, originally hired in
2005 as assistant manager, registration & data entry, has transferred into the position of assistant manager, exhibits.

EBACE2006 Exhibitor Total Running 33 Percent Ahead of Last Year
Scheduled for May 3, 4, 5, 2006, in Geneva, Switzerland, EBACE2006 continues to show remarkable growth, with confirmed Exhibitors already exceeding
200, a 33-percent increase compared to the same period last year. The Static Display on Geneva International Airport is showing similar growth, with
20 aircraft already confirmed. Due to the Show's tremendous growth, this year the EBACE indoor exhibits have moved to Hall 6 of Geneva Palexpo, but
the Static Display location and the Informational Session location (in the Geneva Palexpo meeting rooms near Hall 1) remain the same. New Exhibitors
include Air Link International Ltd., Air Total International, ARGOS VPH, Ateliers Bigata, Bell Helicopter, Club 328, ExecuJet Aviation Group, FERAS,

NBAA2006 Static Display Lottery Deadline Is Mar. 10
As in 2005, Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) and Showalter Flying Service again will host the NBAA Static Display of Aircraft. Applications for Static

NBAA to Promote ABACE2007 at Asian Aerospace 2006
NBAA's next Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE2007) will take place on February 6 and 7, 2007, at the new Asia World Expo
situated adjacent to Hong Kong International Airport with static aircraft at the Hong Kong Business Aviation Center. This trade show is the only
major Asian event focused solely on business aviation. The 2007 event follows the successful inaugural ABACE2005, which drew more than 2,200

S&D Conference Has Record-Setting Turnout of Attendees,
Exhibitors
A record-shattering 2,200 people were in attendance at the NBAA 17th Annual Schedulers & Dispatchers (S&D) Conference held January 25 through
27 in San Antonio, TX, an increase of more than 45 percent over the 2005 total. The event's Exhibitor count also grew significantly, from 275 in 2005
to this year's 322, a 17-percent increase. This Conference, NBAA's largest, gives business aviation schedulers and dispatchers the most up-to-date
information on issues related to their role in corporate flight departments. Aside from the educational sessions, workshops and speakers

Boca Raton Event a Success, Proving Regional Forums Have Local
Appeal
Business aviation community members from Florida and the Southeast U.S. region gathered at the NBAA Business Aviation Regional Forum held January 19
at Boca Raton Airport (BCT), where they attended industry briefings and viewed the latest products and services. Avitat Boca Raton hosted more than

This Month's Leadership Conference to Feature New Mini
Fair
The NBAA Leadership Conference, to be held February 22 and 23 in Dallas, is designed for existing and aspiring aviation managers who wish to develop
and hone their leadership and management skills. As a complement to the Leadership Conference, this year for the first time, NBAA invites industry
providers to participate in a Leadership Mini Fair. Vendors will be allowed to display their literature for a fee during the two-day event and visit
