NBAA'S KATHLEEN BLOUIN NAMED A TOP ASSOCIATION MANAGER
NBAA Vice President, Conventions & Seminars Kathleen M. Blouin has been selected as one
of Tradeshow Week's Top 25 Association Managers by her peers for her contributions to the
trade show and exhibition industry. Blouin began her career with NBAA in 1992 as senior manager,
convention services. At that time, the NBAA Convention registered 17,312 individuals with
636 Exhibiting Companies occupying 226,000 net square feet of booth space. In contrast, the
NBAA2003 Convention featured 28,574 Attendees, 1,068 Exhibitors occupying 445,200 net square
feet of booth space and approximately 75 Informational Sessions. Also during Blouin's tenure,
the Association has established successful Exhibitions in Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Tradeshow Week will run an editorial feature about Blouin in its May 10 issue.
RECORD-BREAKING LABACE2004
SURPASSES EXPECTATIONS
The 2nd Annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (LABACE2004), held
April 15, 16, 17, in São Paulo, Brazil, surpassed even the most optimistic projections
of both organizers and Exhibitors, registering 3,735 people, a 30 percent increase over last
year. The event featured 92 Exhibitors at the Transamérica Expo Center and 19 aircraft
on Static Display on Congonhas Airport. NBAA Senior Vice President, Operations Robert P. Blouin
noted that "NBAA Members, along with companies involved in the industry worldwide, greatly
benefit from having LABACE in Brazil because the country has become an important destination

EBACE2004: CONNECTING EUROPEAN BUSINESS AVIATION
WITH THE WORLD
EBACE2004, the only European exhibition to focus exclusively on business aviation, will be
held May 25, 26, 27 in Geneva, Switzerland. This one-of-a-kind event will feature more than
700 vendor-sponsored exhibits inside Geneva Palexpo Hall 7, approximately 35 aircraft on Static
Display at Geneva International Airport, and Informational Sessions where Delegates can speak
directly to regulatory officials and exchange information on relevant topics for safe, secure

UAL IS THE OFFICIAL AIRLINE OF EBACE
United Airlines is the official airline of EBACE. U.S. Attendees who call United's toll-free
number (1-800-521-4041) to book reservations and refer to Meeting ID Number 517SG will receive
a 5-percent discount off the lowest applicable discount fare, including First Class, or a
10-percent discount off mid-week coach fares, purchased seven days in advance. An additional
5-percent discount will apply when tickets are purchased at least 30 days in advance of the
travel date. Or Attendees may choose Area Pricing, set airfare prices based upon geographical
locations. Discounts apply on all United, United Express, and UA code share flights operated
by US Airways, US Airways Express and Air Canada. International Attendees will receive a 10-percent
discount off the lowest applicable fare (including Business Class) or a 15-percent discount

BOOTH LOTTERY SCHEDULED FOR MID-MAY
NBAA will advise all NBAA 57th Annual Meeting & Convention Exhibitors that have submitted
an application for exhibit booth space at the Las Vegas Convention Center of their booth assignment
in mid-May. If your company has not submitted a booth application, excellent space is still
available. This October 12, 13, 14, the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention returns to Las
Vegas for the first time since 1998, when an all-time attendance record was set. For NBAA2004,
the Association anticipates more than 30,000 Attendees and over 1,000 Exhibitors. For more

NEW ASIAN BUSINESS AVIATION CONFERENCE &
EXHIBITION PLANS UNDERWAY
To promote business aviation in Asia, NBAA has created the Asian Business Aviation Conference
& Exhibition (ABACE). The Association first will host an ABACE Forum on July 15 and 16,
2004, at the Hong Kong Business Aviation Center on Hong Kong International Airport (HKG).
Modeled after the successful NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention in the United States, EBACE
in Europe and LABACE in Latin America, the ABACE Show will debut in Shanghai, China in the
summer of 2005. Dates for the ABACE Show in 2005 will be announced shortly. For more information,

NBAA GALA MOVED TO EVENING OF WEDNESDAY,
OCT. 13
In order for NBAA2004 Exhibitors to host their customers at a spectacular event with world-class
entertainment, the Association has moved the NBAA Gala from the traditional Thursday evening
to the evening of Wednesday, October 13. Although the 2004 entertainment has not yet been
decided, past events have featured stars such as Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Kenny Rogers,
Natalie Cole and Marvin Hamlisch. This year's Gala will be held in the ballroom of the Delegate
Headquarters hotel, the Paris Las Vegas. Gala sponsorship opportunities are now available,
including the pre-Gala Reception and Entertainment, or invite your customers by purchasing

NBAA is launching a streamlined, more up-to-date version of the NBAA 57th Annual Meeting &
Convention Official Directory of Exhibiting Companies. Distributed to Registrants at the Convention
with their credentials, the Directory is helpful in familiarizing visitors with the happenings
at the year's most important international business aviation event and provides many advertising
opportunities. In addition, all advertisers in the 2004 NBAA Directory of Member Companies,
