Review the dues effective through June 30, 2013.

The NBAA Member categories are Corporate, Business, Associate and Affiliate. The qualifications and dues structure for each Member category are detailed below. The online Membership application will ask a few simple questions to identify your Member category, then will calculate your dues based on the information you provide.

In addition, a Leadership Council Member level is available to provide greater support to the Association's mission to promote an environment that fosters business aviation in the U.S. and around the world. Along with the full suite of NBAA Member benefits, Leadership Council Membership includes a regular detailed political briefing, recognition in the NBAA Show Guide and on the NBAA web site, exclusive invitations to functions at the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention and more. Corporate Members

A Corporate Member owns or operates United States registered aircraft, primarily not for hire, as a transportation aid in the conduct of its business or activities, and meets the following qualifications:

  1. The Member must own or operate a multi-engine aircraft and/or a single-engine turbine powered aircraft.
  2. The Member must certify that an operations manual and a maintenance program are employed.
  3. When passengers are aboard, each multi-engine or single-engine turbine powered aircraft must be flown by two professional pilots employed directly or through a contract/lessor operator. One pilot must have a currently valid air transport rating, and the other pilot must have at least a currently valid commercial license and a currently valid instrument rating.
  4. The Member must certify that each pilot and/or crew member undergoes recurrent training and a proficiency check at least once per year.
  5. Less than 50 percent of the Member’s total sales volume, including that of all subsidiaries and affiliates, is from products and services sold to business aviation clients.

Corporate Members dues include a base of $185 and an additional amount per aircraft operated.

Base Fee $185
For each Piston Aircraft add $45
For each Turbine Aircraft 12,500 lbs. or less add $175
For each Turbine Aircraft over 12,500 lbs. add $300

Business Members

A Business Member owns or operates United States registered aircraft, primarily not for hire, as an aid to the conduct of its business or activities, and meets the following qualifications:

  1. The Member does not qualify for Corporate Membership.
  2. The pilot(s) must have at least a currently valid pilots license and instrument rating.
  3. The Member must certify that each pilot and/or crew member undergo proficiency training at least once a year.
  4. Less than 50 percent of the Member’s total sales volume, including that of all subsidiaries and affiliates, is from products or services sold to business aviation clients.

Business Member dues include a base of $185 and an additional amount per aircraft operated.

Associate Members

An Associate Member derives 50 percent or more of its total sales volume from the field of business aviation, does not qualify for Corporate or Business Membership or Affiliate status, or has a pervasive interest in business aviation.

Associate Member dues are based upon the company's gross annual revenue.

Business Aviation Contractor Membership
If you are an individual who independently contracts with the business aviation community, including Contract Pilots, Flight Attendants, Maintenance Personnel and similar functions, you may qualify for a special Business Aviation Contractor Membership at a lower cost (some restrictions apply). Affiliates

An Affiliate meets the qualifications for Corporate or Business Membership, except that it operates aircraft registered exclusively outside the United States.

Affiliate dues are determined by the Affiliate's location and membership in International Business Aviation Council (IBAC)-affiliated organizations.

Annual Dues: $565 – If the Affiliate is a member of any of the following IBAC-affiliated organizations.

  • ABAA – Australian Business Aviation Association
  • ABAG – Associaçao Brasileira de Aviçáo Geral
  • AsBAA – Asian Business Aircraft Association
  • BAAI – Business Aviation Association for India
  • BAASA – Business Aviation Association for Southern Africa
  • BBGA – British Business and General Aviation Association
  • CBAA – Canadian Business Aircraft Association
  • EBAA – European Business Aviation Association
  • EBAA-France – European Business Aviation Council - France
  • GBAA – German Business Aviation Association
  • IBAA – Italian Business Aviation Association
  • JBAA – Japan Business Aviation Association
  • MEBAA – Middle East Business Aviation Association
  • RBAA – Russian Business Aviation Association

Annual Dues: $2,835 – If the Affiliate is located in a country or region represented by one of the IBAC-affiliated organizations listed above, but is not a member of an IBAC-affiliated organization.

Annual Dues: $700 – If the Affiliate is located outside of the countries and regions represented by the IBAC-affiliated organizations listed above.
