About the Presenter

The presenter for this workshop is Guido Fuentes, Manager of System Safety for ARGUS. Guido is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He has 18 years of experience in the aviation industry in various technical and operational positions. He was Manager Safety and Quality Assurance for Avianca Airlines for 15 years and also has an extensive career as an Operational Safety and Quality instructor. Guido has worked with aviation organizations worldwide to develop and improve their Safety Management Systems (SMS) in order to meet and exceed International Civil Aviation Organization standards and local regulations.

IS-BAO and SMS Toolkit

Participants are expected to bring their own copy of the SMS Toolkit. The Toolkit is included with purchase of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) and may also be ordered as a stand alone product. Attendees that have not purchased IS-BAO or the SMS Toolkit may do so during the online registration process.

Substitutions/Cancellations

Please email your cancellation and/or substitution request to [email protected] or send via fax to (202) 478-0036. A 10% processing fee will be processed for cancellations received in writing prior to 1/18/2011. There will be NO REFUNDS AFTER 1/18/2011.

Any person who attends an NBAA convention, conference, seminar or other program grants permission to NBAA, its employees and agents (collectively "NBAA") to record his or her visual/audio images, including, but not limited to, photographs, digital images, voices, sound or video recordings, audio clips, or accompanying written descriptions, and, without notifying such person, to use his or her name and such images for any purpose of NBAA, including advertisements for NBAA and its programs.
