Held in conjunction with the NBAA 62nd Annual Meeting and Convention.
Successful teams make a difference in flight department performance. A team’s persistent and committed collaboration, combined with immediate and precise feedback, increases the value of the flight department director as an integral asset to the corporation. This course locates sources of expertise within and outside the flight department and shows how technologies can be best integrated in defining strategies to capture information and communicate change as more sophisticated systems are continually being developed. Studies have shown that a leaderdominant climate produces a greater disparity in performance than a teamwork-focused climate. A safety culture dependent on continuous improvement without shared responsibility is an accident waiting to happen. What are the critical capability gaps and mission challenges facing flight department managers today? What are the personnel development plans? How do you improve collaboration? These and other questions will be addressed during this performance-based workshop.
This course fullfills NBAA Professional Development Program (PDP) Objective: BM4.
