This Workshop is designed to provide information and guidance to operators who are implementing or considering implementing, the IS-BAO standard and help them complete the registration efficiently and effectively. Flight department managers, chief pilots, safety officers and maintenance managers are the main target audience along with all other members of your organization involved in IS-BAO implementation. Due to workshop format this will be limited to a maximum of 25 attendees. Register early to ensure you’re included.

The session concludes with a review of operational concerns that might affect an operator when planning a trip into the Pacific Rim, highlighting timelines/ changes in procedures and requirements since IOC/2008.

Legal Issues Faced Around the World

Legal systems around the world vary and vary even more greatly when it comes to aviation law. While ICAO goes a long way in attempting, via the Chicago Convention, to bridge these differences, there are always non-standard approaches and at times even linguistic variances awaiting the uninformed. This session will try to mitigate some of these issues for the operator.

International Regulations and their effect on Flight Operations

This comprehensive session covers a multitude of factors in the evolution from today’s enabling-technologies for NextGen, SESAR, ADS (B & C) and the many other pending regulations that will inevitably follow in trail. Also to be reviewed will be the ghosts of codifications past, ICAO SARPS and the numerous NAA rules (there are nearly 200 ICAO states) wherein lie the “gotchas” that go well beyond just the flying of the aircraft.
