Safety Equipment Overhauler Builds on Reputation for Quality and Speed
From their facility in Hudson, MI, Aerospace Service & Products, Inc. (ASAP) serves repair stations and MROs in Chicago, Detroit, Lansing and the greater Midwest. They specialize in overhauling and recertifying wheels and brakes as well as inflatable vests and rafts.
“When a wheel or the brakes wear out on your airplane, you bring it into a service center,” said Charles White, shop inspector for ASAP. “Then we pick it up and take it to our facility.”
ASAP has been in business for 12 years and has seven employees. This is their fourth time exhibiting at NBAA’s Convention. “We’re here just to be part of the community,” said White. It’s also an opportunity for ASAP to see some of their part suppliers and build stronger relationships. “This show, we come mostly to get more name recognition.”
ASAP’s name is good in their regional community, but they could use more national exposure. “We’re one of the few places working on wheels that’s using aircraft-grade polyurethane paint,” said White. “We’re also pretty fast at what we do. We can meet almost any return time that our customers need.”
