FAA NOTAM for NBAA 2012 Convention
As a large increase in aircraft operations in the Orlando, FL area is expected in conjunction with this year's 2012 NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention, special air traffic procedures will be in place to enhance safety and minimize air traffic delays. Please note that there are no slot reservations for arrivals or departures in association with NBAA 2012.
Pilots should be especially aware of the potential for late notice TFRs and security procedures associated with increased VIP movement prior to the Presidential election. Also, operators are advised to monitor Kennedy Space Center Activities and beware of warning/restricted airspace in the central Florida area.
Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) will be the host airport for this year's Static Display of Aircraft. The airport will be open 24 hours (Control Tower is not 24 hours – see NOTAM).
Air-filed flight plans will not be accepted by Jacksonville Center or Orlando Approach Control from Tuesday, October 30 – Friday, November 1, 2012.

With Hurricane Sandy off the coast of South Carolina, NBAA does not expect the storm to impact NBAA2012. All NBAA2012 arrangements and policies remain in effect.
