NBAA's Annual Meeting & Convention: An Event That Puts Business and Aviation Trends Front and Center
It's a fact: Business aviation is a vital part of the nation's economy and transportation system. The manufacture and use of "general aviation" aircraft for business purposes generates more than one million jobs, spurs more than $150 each year in economic activity and contributes to a positive balance of trade for the U.S. Nowhere will the reach, diversity and economic impact of this industry be more in evidence than at the National Business Aviation Association's (NBAA's) 62nd Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2009), scheduled for October 20 to 22, in Orlando, FL.
The show has drawn as many as 30,000 Attendees, 1,100 Exhibiting Companies, and 139 static aircraft. At last year's event, 47 of the 50 states in the U.S., plus the District of Columbia and two U.S. territories, were represented, as were six of the world's seven continents. Now more than ever, NBAA's Convention will be the event where business leaders, government officials, manufacturers, flight department personnel, single-pilot operations and all manner of people involved in nearly every aspect of business aviation will be on hand to discuss the news and trends impacting, and being impacted by, the industry.
