Air Traffic Control Information

The FAA has confirmed that there will be no special traffic management programs (STMPs) in conjunction with NBAA2008.  This means that there will be no arrival or departure slots required.

However, it is possible that heavy arrival and/or departure volume in/out of the area might require the implementation of various traffic management initiatives.  These include possible ground delay programs (GDPs) or GAAP Programs to one or more of the Orlando-area General Aviation airports.

In addition, if a large amount of airborne volume develops and becomes unmanageable, it is possible that the FAA could implement some airborne restrictions, such as miles-in-trail restrictions or airborne holding.
