Introduced last October at the 2014 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA2014), the Business Leaders on Business Aviation booklet features the perspectives of 25 CEOs affirming the key role business aviation plays in their success.
Among those respected executives is Anthony J. Alexander, president and CEO of FirstEnergy, based in Akron, OH. “Business aviation is a valuable tool FirstEnergy uses to better manage our travel time and improve employee productivity,” Alexander notes in the booklet.
That message prompted FirstEnergy Flight Logistics Lead Spring Adamo to order copies of the booklet for the company’s flight operations team, so they could read about the benefits our industry brings to companies nationwide.
“Team members thought the messages in Business Leaders on Business Aviation put a fresh perspective on the important work they do that is vital to our company’s success,” Adamo said.
Expanding on the successful Top Ten advocacy resource introduced at NBAA2013, Business Leaders on Business Aviation also features testimonials from other executives, including Dr. Michael Gregory, chairman of Apogee Physicians, WeatherTech Founder and CEO David MacNeil and Dr. Ed Schweitzer, president of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories.
In total, more than two dozen business leaders provided personal testimonials about the value that business aviation has brought to companies of all sizes across the country. The company leaders featured in the publication represent diverse sectors, such as telecommunications, finance, healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, labor and government.
“The booklet underscores the many benefits of business aviation made available to passengers on FirstEnergy aircraft as they safely and efficiently reach their destinations across our six-state service area and beyond,” Adamo concluded.
